How to Install Notepad++ on Linux

Notepad++ is a free source code editor and supports many languages. Running in the MS Windows environment, its use is governed by GPL License.
Notepad++ based on the powerful editing component Scintilla, is written in C++ and ensures a higher execution speed and smaller program size.
Notepad++ uses less CPU power.
How to install it on your Linux system?
Wine? No need wine here.
All you need is Snapcraft.
First; if you don’t have snap on your system go this link take a look how to install Snap on your Linux distribution.
If you want to check your Snap version type this code on terminal:

snap version

if you have snap on your system follow the steps:

Just open a terminal window and type the following code:

sudo snap install notepad-plus-plus

Enter.

After the process finishes you will have Notepad plus plus.
