Kdenlive Video Editor (KDE Non-Linear Video Editor) is a powerful video editor. It is an open source video editor. The project was started around 2003. Kdenlive uses Qt and the KDE Frameworks libraries. It relies on many other open source projects like FFmpeg, frei0r, movit, ladspa, sox, etc…

For removing PPA and revert back to official distro package using; launch a terminal window (ctrl+alt+t), and type the code (you can copy – paste the code):

sudo ppa-purge ppa:kdenlive/kdenlive-stable
