After download the file launch a terminal window in your “Downloads” directory. Type the code to install the .AppImage File. XXXXX is the version of downloaded OpenShot file
chmod a+x OpenShot-vXXXXX.AppImage
The file that i downloaded named OpenShot-v2.2.0-x86_64.AppImage so i typed in terminal:
chmod a+x OpenShot-v2.2.0-x86_64.AppImage
