How to Install TeamViewer 12 on Linux Systems Ubuntu,Deabian,Fedora…

TeamViewer 12 is released.
TeamViewer is an application for remote control, desktop sharing, online meetings, file transfer between pcs and other platforms and web conference.
It is available for windows, OSX, Linux, iOS, Android, Windows RT and Windows Phone platforms.
The main focus of the application is remote control of computers but it includes the collaboration and presentation.

How to Install TeamViewer 12 on Ubuntu 17.04, Ubuntu 16.10, Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, Linux Mint 18, Linux Mint 17, Elementary OS, Deepin and other Ubuntu Derivative Systems.

For 32 bit :

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gdebi
wget --no-check-certificate https://download.teamviewer.com/download/teamviewer_i386.deb
sudo gdebi teamviewer_i386.deb

For 64 bit :

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gdebi
wget --no-check-certificate https://download.teamviewer.com/download/teamviewer_i386.deb
sudo gdebi teamviewer_i386.deb

How to Install TeamViewer 12 on RedHat, CentOS, Fedora, SUSE

Now download the teamviewer.i686.rpm package.

Official page recommend that to use the a graphical installer. It is easier.

If you prefer to use terminal, launch a terminal window (ctrl+alt+t), first get root rights and type the code (you can copy – paste the code):

yum install teamviewer_12.0.xxxxx.i686.rpm
rpm -i teamviewer_12.0.xxxxx.i686.rpm

for SUSE

zypper install teamviewer_12.0.xxxxx.i686.rpm

 

If you need public key for yum or dnf, you can download it here and import the key by using following command as an administrator:

rpm --import TeamViewer_Linux_PubKey.asc

After importing the public key, please execute the “yum”-command again to install the TeamViewer rpm.

    Hallo

    Du hast da einen Fehler drin

    wget –no-check-certificate https://download.teamviewer.com/download/teamviewer_i386.deb

    sudo gdebi teamviewer_12.0.71510_i386.deb

    wenn du “teamviewer_i386.deb” herunterladen tust kannst du nicht “teamviewer_12.0.71510_i386.deb” installieren, da ist die Zahlenfolgen falsch bzw. der Fehler.
